I really really wanted to love these, however I’m not sure if I should have ordered a smaller blade 5/6 inch. I think they work well for cutting big amounts but they are quite clunky feeling in the snip and don’t seem to have the sharpness towards the tip of the blade. When fully closed I can still move the blades by pinching the tip and there’s movement there..so they don’t feel very structurally sound. I did adjust the tension with the blade to get a better feel but no different.
I use kasho normally but wondered what new brands were out there as the kasho were coming in pricey. I think the company’s ethos is great and aligns with many peoples desire to be greener, but the precision just was lacking.
But again I probably should have ordered a smaller blade…no late now! ..gulp.
A hairdresser friend ordered some too after I had mine delivered and she went for a 5 inch blade and is loving them.

Have you tried adjusting the tension on the scissors? Sometimes if the tension is not right then scissors will fell duller than they are. We have guides on setting the perfect tension on our youtube channel, or you can message us and we will be more than happy to assist you.

My new leaf scissors are making cutting hair a really nice experience, they feel much more effortless in the hand, natural to hold and I have adapted to them with ease. Love the fact that the company plants 10 trees for every scissor sold too!

These scissors are amazing! They are so comfortable to use and I love the fact trees get planted for each purchase you make! I just feel like these scissors were made for me! I would highly recommend

I was a new stylist and I was fortunate enough to find leaf scissors straight out of training, I wanted to treat myself for qualifying, ditched my trainee scissors and leaf were my first professional pair , they have done me proud ! And give me joy ! So much so a few years later I've just bought my second pair and maybe I just know talent when I see them as people are just talking about them in Glasgow and I had mine years ago ?!!! I’ll be honest I was expecting more, they don’t care as clean as other brands for the same price but they’re comfortable and still a solid scissor. Would recommend for junior stylist as an investment for their first decent pair of scissors.
