These types of screws do not usually have a great reputation among hairdressers who manufacture high quality or premium professional scissors because they tend to protrude from the shape of the scissors, precisely because of their butterfly shape, which makes it difficult to manipulate this tool in some cuts. 

UFO screws 

These screws are known as pivot screws or tamper-proof screws. They are screws with modern designs that are different from the previous ones, perhaps one of their characteristics to highlight is that, as they do not protrude from the design of the hair cutting scissors, the hair does not get trapped in it while the cut is being manipulated.  This may be an advantage, but they are not easily manipulated, which means that not one person can handle their tension, only a scissor specialist can change that factor.
